Animal Collective

The newest Animal Collective album "Merriweather Post Pavillion" is pretty rad. The album cover is amazing I could sit and stare at this for a good while. Enjoy the day!

TCB...

Peep the THE TIMES to read about Obama's first day in office and see what's getting done. It seems Obama did more in one day than Bush did in 8 years.

Down with O.P.P?

Yeah you know me!

Fotos...

I was scrolling through blogs just now and the very first one I came across is IXAYA and it has some really well taken shots of Mexico. This one is my favorite.

I want to go to there.

Late Photo Update...

These first two photos are when my current room mate came to the city. Uptown and downtown from the Brooklyn Bridge.

This gentleman is called "triple nipple" I'm not sure why, but I can guess. One day I saw him walking down the street with no shoes carrying a 2 gallon bucket of cherries I'm sure he did not pay for.

Only ring I'd even think about wearing.

This is some unreal spot out of a video game.

Polski G's...

These are my Polski friends Joey and Matt whom I skated with regularly in Greenpoint, they are suuuper funny and can shred board. We always used to cut on one another for either being from Texas or being Polish. They both own sidekicks that never leave their side. I love those guys.

Gaza..

For the past few weeks I've been checking out the photos of the supposed "holy war" happening in Gaza and it is really sad. There are some really intense dramatic shots of explosions and people losing loved ones. I think it's important that people in other countries see what is happening there, mainly to avoid killing and fighting in a war that doesn't need to be fought.

On a lighter note there are some other very interesting galleries including a series called One in 8 Million and it covers people around New York their job and how they came to be where they are. My favorite story so far is Joel Karp a 71 year old man who opened Columbia Drugs in the lower east side 45 years ago and is still there today, and he has a very interesting story to tell so you should check it out.

The Slums of Shaolin...

I just watched "WU: The Story of The Wu-Tang Clan" and it was pretty epic. It covers everything, how they got together ODB's troubles with the man and all that Wu shit. If your a fan on the Clan it's definately worth checking out.
